First Thriller ideas
Here are a few Opening credits for some thrillers which inspired our first ideas for our project, we wanted to create an opeing that was a little wierd and confusing. This was to give our audience a little insight to who the main character is and what might happen later into the film. The blurry openings below gave us this idea so that we could create an opeing that freaked the viewer out but was still intresting to watch.
The ring inspired us because of its fast blurry transitions and eery music soundtrack. It leaves the viewer confused and wondering what is happening in the scene and the rest of the film.
It's use of mirrors and eyes plays on the viewers emotions of creepy and thrilling fears.
Se7en also inspired our first ideas for our thriller project as it too messes with your mind and emotions. The use of extreme close ups throughout the opening is used well to confuse the audience and keep the suspence. The music involved is screechy with snipits in and out of creeks, murmering and electical twines.
Although The incredible Hulk is not a thriller persay, but more of an action movie, it's opening also inspired our thoughts and ideas. It's fast transitions and credits again merge into a thriller type opening, and the use of Mirroring, shadowing and water reflections give a creepy feel to the beuining of the film.
